Businessman and entrepreneur Adam McBride is passionate about positive social change. As well as owning the digital marketing and web company Dynumo and web hosting platform BelfastWeb, Adam is also the creator of StartNI (an independent business blog) and Belfast Bloggers (a meet-up group).

Having studied economics and business at the University of Ulster in Jordanstown Adam has followed the work of the Northern Ireland Executive closely in recent years and believes change is necessary for Northern Ireland to take the necessary steps to move forward.

Adam is standing as an independent candidate for North Antrim in the March 2017 Assembly election. His mission statement is that it’s “time to make this country work for everyone” and if elected, he will be designating as “other” as he does not agree with the designation system, and believes elected representatives should work for all parts of the community.

As a former economics student Adam is pro-UK membership on economic grounds but believes cultural, religious and political diversity across Northern Ireland must be a priority for the country to move forward.
